Annual - All Day Educational Conference and Luncheon
"Stroke and a Pen"
There will be a review of the latest American Heart Association Stroke Guidelines, hot off of the press by Elaine Tilka. This will be followed by some extremely valuable legal and documentation information starting with a MOCK TRIAL of a nurse presented by Michelle Cournan. You will be the jury and decide whether the nurse is guilty or innocent. Then, Terry Black, a nationally known expert on nursing and nursing documentation, will focus on how the power of documentation can justify the need for 24 hour rehabilitation nursing care.
The conference will be held at Laurel Park Conference Center in Livonia.
